it would be remiss of me not to acknowledge the huge input gained from numerous sources in the creation of this website.  Most of the prose is my own, however, some observations and historical time-lines have been sourced from others.  Rather than referencing the source throughout the website it was decided to make the acknowledgements in one location.  This was consciously done, not to deceive, but to enable the reader a more pleasurable experience.
